Musicians Move
This is a fun get to know you game for your upper elementary students!
- Students make a circle each standing or sitting on a marker of your choice.
- Chairs
- Hoola Hoops
- Sit Spots
- Teacher starts by reading a musical statement card
- If student agrees with the statement they music walk into the circle and switch spots with all the other students the statement applies to
- Teacher will “steal” a spot so that a new student will be caught in the middle
- New student will read another card and repeat the process
- When students read the cards, they take the card with them so we know they have already had a turn reading it
